If you can see the invisible, God can do the impossible!

New book:
Never, never, never give up!

omslagMattheusGeefNooitOp_nwI see so many people – young and old – with a calling of God upon their lives, who are giving up so easily. They didn’t learn how to navigate through life when disappointments or difficult situations come their way. I am longing to help these people to rise up again. That’s why I wrote this book – together with some people that I consider heroes of faith – about life and life situations. With this book I want to give these discouraged people keys that will enable them to keep running the race, with their eyes fixed on Jesus.

About Mattheus

Mattheus was born in 1975 in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, and went to Maritime College at the age of 17. After college he worked as a Maritime Officer. During this time he traveled to different countries. The Lord called Mattheus after the war in Kosovo to help the widows and orphans. Back in the Netherlands Mattheus started a ministry. He met his wife Rebekah and married. They have 3 children and live in Ermelo in The Netherlands.

In 2011 they founded the House of Heroes church and are currently the senior pastors. Mattheus still travels to different countries to bring the Gospel. God uses his organisation Gospel Music Festival to open up and disciple nations. Myanmar, Laos, North Korea and other countries have been touched by the ministry. Mattheus has a heart to bring breakthrough through the power of the Holy Spirit.

About Rebekah

Rebekah and Mattheus van der Steen have 3 children and live in Ermelo in The Netherlands. Rebekah grew up in the United States and was taken to the satans church at an early age. At the age of 17 she was saved supernaturally and left the high position she had in the satans church. God changed her life radically.

For years Rebekah worked with the homeless who lived on the streets of Seattle Washington and led worship in church. There she met the love of her life, married and moved to The Netherlands. Together Mattheus and Rebekah lead the House of Heroes church. Besides being pastors they also travel the world to preach the Gospel in nations that have been closed to the Gospel.

Rebekah speaks regularly at conferences all over the world where she shares here testimony. God uses her powerfully in prophectic ministry. Her most important message is: “Love in action looks like something”.
